Notice of Foster Volunteer Agreement
Here are the general rules of fostering that you will be expected to follow during fostering for any organization.
  1. You are solely a temporary home and placements are always conducted by the organization representative.
  2. As a volunteer you take part in representing the organization you work with in your attitude, words and actions. You will not speak for the group or enter into any agreements for them.
  3. You will carry a personal responsibility for financial expenses up to a cap of your choice. All reimbursements by rescue groups are approved by them after viewing documentation from you.
  4. Fostering is non-profit. That means you will not make a profit from it.
  5. The organization cannot guarantee or be held responsible for the temperament, health or behavior of foster dogs that you handle. You are aware that dogs may cause damage. You will keep dogs securely contained while in your care.
• Help everyone remember what Ellen Degeneres went through. If any dog that has been adopted out is not the perfect match for that family it is to go back to the rescue organization.
