Classes

Why Is ACS Different?

We use training methods that actually work. Not six months or a year later - immediately. You do not want to spend time and hard earned money on methods that do not produce a perfect result. You do your homework and you will get results .... guaranteed.

We do not teach or follow methods that allow your dog to do commands on his/her terms or when he/she feels up to doing them. Our goal is for you to have control of your dog at home, at a park, around kids & family, when company comes over and amongst the highest distractions like a squirrel.

Your dog runs at a full gate down the street and you give a recall command and he actually comes ... unbelievable? Come experience the difference!

Puppies

For puppies 8 to 16 weeks of age.

(2) Private Lessons $80
At least 1-1/2 hrs long. Worth many classes elsewhere. Takes less time. We give more info.

You want your puppy to be confident, unafraid and have a happy outlook towards his environment & the world. You want your puppy to be a respectful follower of your guidance. You want your puppy to be able to play with other dogs, children, family or you without biting, or jumping on them.

You will receive tons of information towards potty training, leash work, crating, nail trimming, leaving for work, feeding, vocalizing & preparation for the obedience training coming up. There is plenty of time for all your questions.
Is what you are doing working? It is really hard to make choices after hearing trainers, watching TV, reading print filled with controversies .... we feel that the proof is in the results.
Do you ever get to the point of frustration and end up yelling because you don't know what else to do ... this is the wrong way of training. Don't let it happen to you.

Obedience

To go through the complete program from beginning through advanced involves 16 classes ad takes 11 months.

One meeting every other week for 5 months. $78 a month
One meeting once a month for 6 months. $39 a month

If you choose to take only a portion of the course a breakdown is provided to you at the first class with pricing for each level you would like to achieve. The basics cover at least 15 commands and hands on work with very careful watch and guidance to help you see exactly what needs to be done to get results.
If you don't fit into any of the listed classes we will custom build classes for you with whatever fits your time schedule and finances.

All of our classes are private and on an appointment basis so you can start at any time we can co-ordinate the time. You can choose to focus on one problem or take several classes at your home.

The more you buy the less money you pay. Getting up to the advanced level means you can count on your dog to do what you've asked him to do.

Advanced classes are held at either Allstar or the closest dog park for the majority on the 1st Sat. of each month. The Advanced classes begin April 1st of each year and are ongoing throughout Spring and Summer. Students can join in at any time as the lessons are independent of each other.
Past students who have completed the Advanced classes and would like a brush up are welcome to join in providing space is available.
